Functions: | 4-Basic function with constant plus: SIN/COS/TAN and inverses, Ln/LOG and inverses, square root, x^y, 1/x, Pi. It has a memory with keys M+, M-, X<->M, X<-M, X->M and the rare key M+X^2. There are no MC or MR keys! |
Display: | 8 big digit LED display in one block. Each digit has 7 standard segments plus decimal point indication. Also there is a special digit at the far left for negative and overflow indication. There is no memory content indication. |
Keyboard: | 20 keys on metal membrane over a printed circuit and 2 sliding switches for angle selection and On/Off. |
Main chips: | A "Calculator on a chip" Rockwell A4002CA chip with datecode 7608 (August 1976). |
Logic comments: | Expressions are inputted in algebraic format without parenthesis. The memory register usage is quite unusual with the rare key M+X^2 and the lack of MC and MR keys. Overflow error is recoverable pressing C. There is no -0 error, but this calculator has the decimal point ghost behavior: 2.25 + 3.75 gives 6.00 instead of 6. |
